Design Wall March 14, 2011

OY! I am so late but better late than never I always say!

I am making this quilt for my nephew for his graduation present. I have 5 panels out of 7 done, this is the center 3 of them put together. I need to make two more and then I can assemble the whole thing.



This is a picture of just the center three strips:
When I just had the center three strips done I was NOT HAPPY. I know the colors all mesh together well but I thought they meshed a bit too much and there wasn't enough contrast. Now that I have more of the design together, I am much happier with it. WHEW! What a relief!

2011 Stash Report Week 11

I have been sewing and about half way done with the top for my nephew's graduation gift. I am determined NOT to be rushing and sewing down the binding two hours before the party! Procrastination is a stress inducer.

I am working on it.

Since I count my fabric as busted when I cut it out.....
