....when you have neighbors like ours!
My neighbor Chuck brought over two bags of fresh picked veggies from thier garden. I have lots and lots of tomatoes, some peppers, both hot and mild, some cucumbers, the best green beans ever and a big zucchini. I wasn't planning on it, but Mark has already requested I make salsa tomorrow. I always make salsa first from whatever tomatoes we get because we use so much of it and it is expensive to buy....
So I cleaned the kitchen up and bleached the sink and I'm ready for a cooking day tomorrow. Maybe I'll make a dessert too.

Gotta love neighbors like that... Before we moved our neighbor brought me fresh veggies almost daily during the summer. I really miss that. I though I would plant a garden but with all the rabbits and deer... I don't know if they would leave any for us.

Have fun! I went to the farmer's market on Saturday. Got corn, watermellon, tomatoes, eggplant, etc. I don't have much time for cooking this weekend, but have a nice stew in the crockpot.
What great neighbors you have. I'm with DH on the salsa. It is so much better than store-bought, anyway.
